As a promo student at Avans, I earn a bit of extra money by helping out at events such as the AI Expo and Open Days. This includes tasks like organizing proper signage, setting up materials, welcoming guests, giving explanations, and similar activities.

As a CMD student with a strong interest in visual media and storytelling, I was asked to create the videos for the Innovation Spotlights this academic year. Through this, I practice skills such as recording visuals and audio in different situations and turning them into a video that meets the assignment’s goals.

By making the Innovation Spotlights, I also dive into a wide range of topics, develop my storytelling by turning content into a film script, and improve my technical skills by editing the videos in a way that makes the client happy—including adding subtitles, uploading to the right platform, and more.
